I Ran for 3 yrs as a P&D driver for New England Motor Freight, thier trucks maybe older but that company takes care of their trucks, and as a company driver i had good benefits, vacation pay, and paid by the Hour... only reason why i left was because I wanted more of an adventure in OTR.. I do miss being home every night, off on weekends paid holidays, and vacation pay..

i agree. This was one of my best gigs. i did linehaul and the only reason i left was because of a personal situation at home. i wouldn't say it's off the table to possibly go back.

And the trucks were fine---although a little slow at 62mph :(

NEMF is a mid-tier at best LTL operation. They are still light years ahead of your typical run of the mill OTR job but behind the best LTL jobs like Old Dominion, Dayton Freight, UPS, Fed Ex, ABF
