I am glad I finally remembered to ask this question. Are Volvos 2012 and up smooth rides? I remember starting out with 2011 and 2012 Cascadias and man those trucks had such a horrible ride. I sometimes hurt my back or wrist when I hit a pothole since it felt like there was no suspension. The whole truck bounced a foot in the air when I first entered on any bridge. I've been driving a 2015 Cascadia for the past two years and its a smoother quiet ride.
I want to get a Volvo and want to be sure the older models like a 2012 is smooth and quiet too. Thanks.
Are most Volvos 2012 and up smooth rides?

I got a 2001 and 2003, smooth as silk. I would imagine new ones are even better
OOwannaBE Thanks this. -
As smooooth as an Adidas Flip Flop.

Volvos as supposedly the best ride out there. I've never sat in one.

Yeah that is important to me. Ever since I got the 2015 Cascadia I can drive 11 hours and when I am done I can hop out of my truck and not even feel tired. The 2012 Cascadia after driving I felt beat up and sleepy.

Mine is a 2005, it drives real nice. Like Dune-T said, I'm sure the newer ones are even nicer. I just hope that the newer ones have finally figured out the emissions crap and the associated breakdowns that were sure to follow.

After I replaced the rusted out shocks on my 08 she riding smoother than a maybach.

Anythink after about 1996 when the White/Volvo became just Volvo, are the smoothest riding trucks you can buy. The number 1 problem with a volvo is they hold 0 resale value. A brand new volvo 130K, in 3 years will be luck to get 45 whereas a brand new pete or kw 150?K in 3 years still worth 100K.OOwannaBE Thanks this.

If it rides smooth I hope to keep it for a long time.

That's what I was thinking. I don't care too much about resale.Brettj3876 and ramblingman Thank this.
