    When you come out of the rail and get to the traffic light you can see if they are out with the portable, instead of making the left to go towards 55 keep straight and take the longer route back to rt 53

    Sometimes they park across the street from the Pilot, if they see you turn onto 53 without scaling, they pull you over into the industrial park across the way and scale you there.....

    Bottom line, everywhere around Elwood is a red zone for DOT or local sheriff scales....

    Was talking to this 1 driver who use to take rice or some #### to Peru said a local cop scaled him and was like that's 10k you can't move the truck until we get it and was about to lock him up until they got it I was like #### that's kidnapping with a ransom wtf type of law is that is that even legal

    1 question if you have a 40 overweight from rail and scale it where are you going to take it to get right cuz the rail not letting you back in so what would you do

    Shipping company pays to have guys (and equipment, if necessary) to come re-work it.(EXPENSIVE)!!!!

    now I know how bad things are..... jb hunt, roman truck leasing, sni and 2 other companies have hiring freeze for company drivers and o/o in this area for intermodal and rates out of the port are dropping like quick.... Elizabeth port to buffalo,ny overweight 1400 and you have to go into to the port, previously 1600 yard to yard.
