Wow... This thread has grown legs.

What I find interesting is someone reports they can't get paid timely from said company. The owner of said company then comes here and acknowledged it as being true. Gives a bunch of excuses of slow pay. But basically tries to undermine the OP. When in fact the OP made a sound business decision to refuse anymore loads until made current. A couple of f2f drivers seem to accuse the OP of running a failing business because he is unwilling to get into deep with this company.

What happens if F2F files for bankruptcy protection? There comes a point when you need to protect your lively hood.

What light could you shed? The owner of the company has already stated his side of things.

The owner sure hasn't came back to defend himself against the "two abandoned load" explanations by OP. WHY can't you just pay the guy his keep?

Mostly for the bookkeeping, fuel discounts, some offer factoring (with some that's a kind of fantasy) maybe some load coverages, stuff like that. It does have a value, no dispute on that. For me the main value is the load itself.

Maybe I'm just cheap. Frugal is what I call it.

Hopefully the OP can cover his ###, As far as my earlier post about being a stand up Guy, now would be a good time to offer some money to keep the OP from going under! Or like someone else posted Arrow2! Good luck to all involved with this one.

At the same time if that driver knew there was issues with payroll he should have never accepted any load either

According to the owner, he wasn't paid because of 2 abandoned loads, not payroll issues.
