Will do. Just to clarify, I explained the difference between the bird perch mount that replaces one screw and the better mount that replaces two that most people are using now. Explained wind torque on the one versus the other and that it couldn't damage the door the way the perch might.Last edited: Feb 25, 2016

Now you will find out if it is just the look they don't like or if it is really a concern for the equipment. Remind them of the last two, big, expensive, fatality accidents we've had. A CB could have very well prevented both of those. (the rear-ender outside the town where the tornado had hit, and the comedian accident)slim6596 Thanks this.

I am waiting for a reply from our driver that went to Bentonville for the grass roots meeting about this antenna situation. When I brought it to his attention, he agreed it was worth looking into.
mike5511 and Neverready Thank this. -
....and after an email to my boss's boss, I get to put my antenna on the door.

Yep. His boss called me and explained how, because the "policy and enforcement was inconsistent", I could put my antenna back on the mirror arm. Just ordered a heavy duty, stainless steel quick disconnect from Bob's CB. As soon as I have it, I'll be back in business.

Hmmmmm, Think I recognize that parking lot! Wonder if we'll get a new policy now? I'm planning on retiring completely October 2017, guess I can survive whatever they do. (just running part time now)
