My new company fuels mostly at Sapp Bros., I did not have any shower credits at other places when I first started. I was making a delivery with Olathe on my route so I parked on a side street to use a shower room, even though I had not worked at TA for almost a year (yes, I know I am naughty).
I got my shower bag together, I still have my TA fuel card and I walked to the TA yard. Went into the shop and ask for a shower room, presenting my TA fuel card. Guy in the shop said I needed my driver's license to get a shower room key, he would not give it up. I was incensed! I always gave my fuel card as a deposit in the past, how dare this pencil pusher inconvenience a hard working driver! I started to make a stink, then I remembered I no longer worked for TA, I had no business being there and I quietly walked away.jaso37 Thanks this. -
Passport you probably should have asked for a manager. You might have gotten that shower or free room at the police station for the night. LOL.

This is a totally different kind of mastiff for me. She is a Cane Corso and very athletic. She was bred to be a show dog and she is a beauty.....but she requires a lot of attention right now. I have had to break up a couple of tussles with my French mastiff. Thankfully, they have reached a truce ......I think.....I hope. For some reason, she has chosen me as her "boss". I am the one that she minds consistently......could it be that she recognizes who is the "Queen"?scottlav46, Panhandle flash, jaso37 and 1 other person Thank this. -
WB Queen. Hope the new puppy works out. Teenagers are fun right? I kept my parents on their toes. I know you guys don't believe that but it's true, I was a handful.
HometimeQueen and passport220 Thank this. -
Also, my name is not "mud" at TransAm. I turned in my equipment in good order, wrote a professional "thank you for the opportunity" letter of resignation. I still (or at least a year ago) knew some friendly faces at TA. If I was called on it, I could have easily said I was there to speak with training dept/recruiter/Johnny Jacobson about another round of employment with TA. I thought it was best to clean myself up a bit before I came, in person to talk about a job.
The truth is, it was petty, someone would have likely just told me to beat it and I would have. Cause, future employment with TA ... only when hell freezes over.jaso37 and Panhandle flash Thank this.
