Everybody's definition of working hard is different. When I'm in the truck I'm working I don't need to relax in the truck I do that when I'm at home with my family.

I just went to wallmart and got a 26 inch led tv and a indoor digital antenna with a 60 mile range(It is flat and about 10 x 10). So easy to set up when I park , just put it in a window or I like to tape it to my calibration stick and put it up higher. Totally free tv, right now in Houston area and get about 60 channels cbs, abc, tbs, fox ect.

I use a sling box at the house. I have a Amazon Fire stick plugged in the back of my tv in the truck. and it has the sling box app on it. I use my phone as the hot spot, or I watch diectly on my phone or iPad. I can watch live tv or operate the DVR on the cable box in my room from anywhere.

    flood Thanks this.

I have seen trucks on the road that had 'home' type satellite dishes mounted.... wouldn't that require some sort of ability to "turn" the dish so it had a line of sight ov the approximate location of the satellite?

Yea. I tried that 17 years ago for all of 2 months and decided this sucks. I had to level the pole every time I stopped, then look up the angle for the location I was in, then rotate the dish while listening for a beep from my TV as I did this. That kind of effort is for poor people that can't go without TV.
