Schneider, swift, Knight, any mega out there. Most have an intermodal division.

 

Are you talking about 20 ft 40 ft and 45 ft port containers or the 53ft rail containers? Because companies that pull port containers there are a couple that require a minimum 1 year experience but most want 2 years. But for the rail you have Schneider and swift I believe have the lowest experience experience level but all kinda be on a waiting list because most position be filled. Jb hunt is like 6 months and i use to pull for hub group they want 1 year if you are 25 or older

 

Yes ship containers are the same as port containers they are 20 40 and 45 foot boxes. I live in the south east and 3 years ago those were the requirements back when i was new driver but I got lucky and someone hired me at 8 months.

 

If you were located in the Bay Area, I could get you a job by tomorrow. I have some friends that work for the Port of Oakland. They are always asking me if I want to go back, but I'm in a good place right now.

 

Aren't those jobs like 700'ish a week on hourly?
