This is probably a stretch, but do you remember the TV show WKRP in Cincinnati? There was an episode where Dr. Johnny Fever drank alcoholic beverages and his reaction times got progressively better. Hysterical.

Alas, you are correct. I don't drink often, but when I do I become a blubbering, stumbling mess of a man. Lol.

Sorry but that was a TV show, anything can happen when it follows a script.

 

Naturally it was scripted, but it didn't prohibit it from being funny. At least in my opinion.

They couldn't make a show like that today.

I once read that your reflexes may improve slightly after consuming some alcohol. After more consumption, reflexes get worse.
I plan to do some research on this later tonight at my local scientific center ( some people call it a bar ).

 

I was in my local bar. I was talking to a 20 something year old female college student. She said she was doing a project on people 35-50 years old. I said, "I'm in that age group. I'm 50 ."
