Your right a KW will hold a better value but you forgot to mention a couple of things. They cost more and parts are more expensive. Heck go into a KW parts store and buy a fuel or oil filter then go to a Freightliner parts store and buy the same filters. I bet you'll scratch your head thinking, why is the exact same part more expensive at KW....LOL
Oh and I just love when you Pete and KW guys start that whole resale talk. To bad you don't realize all that extra money you got in resale you've already spent in all the parts you've bought...LOL
112racing Thanks this. -
that's why I buy my parts at freightliner. Just because you drive a pete dn't mean you shop at the pete store. I've had the freightliner guy run out the door and across the street to pick up a peterbilt part (peterbilt only part) come back to the store and sell it to me 20% cheaper then pete wanted. Now there is good pete dealers out there but more and more of them these days are these rush peterbilt stores and they bend ya over coming and going. I don't do any more business with them then I have to
scatruck and The Challenger Thank this. -
MM, you bring up a valid point about these Rush dealers. Thank you.
Brick, whats the specs on Bronc's truck you sold him?
Hunter -
Speaking about ''Rush'' any body know what ever happened to "Pete-Tech", Have not seen anymore of his post's?
-
Theres really no light to shed here, i just like driving a truck and not having to worry about flying plastic shelving hitting me in the head.
Brickman Thanks this. -
that's funny!

WOW your brave to admit to driving a volvo......
scatruck Thanks this. -
Yes! now let the insults roll in
.... A friend owns one, and his radio actually cracked in half in the dash board from the vibration.
-
Common problem with the volvos. The top of the dash where the cb radio is supposed to mount will flap up and down to the point of destroying your CB. It's a poorly mounted plastic panel. I rode in one when training for my first trucking job. Brand new truck and over 6 weeks it destroyed a nice Magnum Force Radio.
