    I wouldn't do either one. You probably wouldn't either.

    If he puts his location on the profile, probably dozens of team outfits will hire him.

    @infofordaniels, where is your location?
    @street beater

    I gave him some ideas on another of his threads where he wants teams or team with 0/0.

    While I was with Swift my first trainee was coming off 10 years on a straight truck. He got his CDL A from the Swift Academy, then had to do the full meal deal with 200 hours of training. By far he was the best trainee I upgraded to solo. He went to platinum status within three months, averaging over 11,000 miles per month. He trained his wife on the Friends and Family program, they sold all their "stuff" and started teaming over 2 years ago. Paid off $60K in credit card debt and have banked in the six figures (we stay in touch).

    They are close to their goal of buying a house for cash and having his wife retire.

    Yes, if I understand correctly he paid over $4K for school, graduated, THEN started to try to get a job. As Chinatown always advises, don't wait until after you graduate with your CDL to be blasting out applications.

    Another thing, wouldn't a school that costs over $4K attract at least a FEW recruiters??? Wouldn't they have some kind of job placement help? His posts raise some questions and/or red flags.

    My first question for the OP is have you applied for any jobs? With whom and what were the results? Did you get offers you didn't like?
