Contracting with Roehl doesn't deter me. It's a fair consideration for the fact that not only do they train you, but they pay you, pay for your hotel and most of your food for 4 weeks. I would only have a problem with the contract if I never intended to stay with them after training in the first place.

My sincere apologies. I truly thought you were joking. I was wrong.

Everyone goes through hard times and when those times happen it is never a laughing matter. We have all been there and I am sure you will be fine. Good luck.

Trainers are paid salary, there is a great deal amount of costs in the office to have YOU in the cab with that trainer.

Consider this. You might spend a day backing into a dock with a delivery 20 miles away due tomorrow, carefully designed to give you a slow time to learn everything. FFE did that with me sometimes so I can throw the wife at the dock and see to it that she backs into it some days of the work week as she learns (Or not...) Deliveries don't matter much, the training does because it's your future.

So you quit. Fine. Pay the 3000 or whatever and move on. You will discover that every one who owns a bunch of trucks will discover this stragety in time everywhere. To quit is so weak, to resolve problems... now that rocks. However...

There are things that cross the line and you should quit instantly.
