Farm2Fleet NOT PAYING

I'm about tired of your little insults and jabs at me. You obviously have some deep seated hatred for whatever reason.
I'm not a sycophant and I have never, ever recruited anyone. The only thing I'm guilty of was having a lot of enthusiasm and pride in what I was doing. And that did have the affect of drawing people to this company but I have never recruited anyone. In fact I have tried to talk people out of coming here before just because it is a big step same as getting authority.

Now as far as standing by the company while this goes on. If I were at Mercer, or Landstar and this was going on I'd be gone in a flash. And I'd never dream of leasing onto a company working with brokers. I'd be in that mindset and looking at an agent system like Admiral Merchants, or Universal or some such. Nothing wrong with that or those companies but that would be my frame of mind.

Now, knowing what I know about the brokers who often use us and will seek us out when a lot of other people are crying about there being no spot freight. Well, we worked hard all these years to build that. If I go out on my own or to another similar spot company then I basically have to start from scratch again building that reputation up again. You and others can say whatever you want and think what you will but among the people who consistently load our trucks we have a stellar first class reputation.

And that's almost 6 years in the making. I'm not going to throw that away and start over again. I love being a free agent our here able to work with anyone and don't want to get myself locked into an agent based system. I don't want to start from scratch again.

That's why I stay here. It's more than just loyalty. It's actually self interest the same as you or anyone else. Could I get burned? Of course. That's the risk I take.

 

Just curious, did you ever wait 3 wks for a check?

 

Furthermore, this very thread and the attacks and insults were a big part of why I never would recruit anyone and actively discourage people from coming here. If they wanted it bad enough they would do it regardless of what I say. I never wanted anyone to fail. And then come back to me pointing fingers. I feel for these guys with the big truck payments who ended up getting burned on the late paychecks. Nothing I can do about that and it isn't really my problem. So don't come in here pointing fingers at me on that.

If I had it to do over again I would have never put anything out here on TTR. In fact Dannythetrucker, who some of you know, several months ago himself got fed up with social media and just cut it all out of his life entirely. I got an email from him a few weeks ago. Life is much simpler that way. I'm not on Facebook and have no intention to be. And I really don't need this in my life either.

 

Anyone want to state what the contract says about performance vs slow pay? Any clause about this or was it on a handshake? Definetly sad that the Op was able to lease on...but then became labeled a Baby running around with a wet diaper. And no I don't have a dog in this fight, but alot of finger pointing going on, so time to go back to watching this movie.

 

Fair enough, I've been sick of your little pom pom and cartwheel cheering routine here for awhile myself. Let's move on, my main problem with you is strictly personal, I asked you a simple question, simple and to the point because I always knew you were the f2f guy, you lash out, a little profanity and anger because of you bitterness over the situation. My other problem with you and some others is discounting a few guys issues of payment because you all say "they are week to week" and "maybe they should be mad and leave with not having reserves". Whether they need every nickel at every minute what's it to you? They per overs real or exaggerated being stiffed, maybe it did cause them grave consequences, but the cheerleaders discount them in every way to stand with the stiffer mr. Bill. It's always delicate to downplay people's financial situation hence the anger. Also, last thing, just because someone is mad or upset about late pay may not be because they need the dough, I don't need it, don't need it at all but if I'm not made whole the way it's supposed to be, I'm gonna be beyond angry and probably downright violent. It's about honor, I've never, ever, never "slow/late paid" any one of my employees. Not even an option, period.

Sorry to hear about the knee. Not sure about the Benny Hinn style but I will certainly send up a few prayers for your relief.

 

I think all I commented on was about businesses sometimes work together to overcome hardships and explained Aged Accounts Receivable.

And trust me, as a Christian myself, I would never compare anyone to my Lord and Savior for, I fear, we would all far very short.

Oh I don't need validation and my "trite" comments, even the self deprecating ones, are simply in response to the comments of others.

And just what is my position?

I don't think I have said anything specific to this situation other than yes, everyone here now knows the situation and seems there is a team of people, both management and drivers, working together to address and fix the current situation that they are all facing.

I do hope for a satisfactory outcome for all.
