Let me help you out with this "confusion" with a simple question. How many people does it take to change a tire?

It's a simple deal, for the dealer. Pull along the side of the road, let the air out...wait for the customers to arrive. A lot of them use women to reduce suspicion even further. Of course, somebody has to look like they are changing a tire.

Anytime you see more than 2 people working on a car along side the interstate/highway. Odds are there's a deal going down.

I guess that's why I see so many state troopers stop when somebody has a flat on the interstate . Change the tire and get them out of there and stop sales .

    ^ LOL
I never let them search inside the cab since the last time I did, they did something with their power drills and screwed my a/c+ and my clothes were left all over the place. Every time they ask me if they can search and I say no, they'll just hand me back my stuff and on my way.

I blame that commie "Homeland" crap for every bit of this stuff.Since 911,every twobit jackwad with a badge envisions themselves as some kind of paramilitary badazz...When you see a patrol cop with jump boots on and all the "soldier of fortune" garb on you can rest assured you are dealing with a bonafide card carrying idiot.Fire em all and start over would be our best bet.And training them may be a good idea too.:biggrin_25525:

Gettinpaid, Every time they ask?! How often does this happen? I mean, I've driven 119,000 mi. and never had it happen. What's going on here?

I've had it happen several times to me. Not often mind you. But it does happen. Here in MS, we've had a huge increase in drug enforcement units. And they want to look at everything they are given an oppurtunity to.

I just cooperate, and I'm usually gone within 30 minutes. Hell, the last one let me slide on my logs. I hadn't touched them since I had started driving that morning.

It was kinda spooky though. 3 units total, one a k-9, the other a commercial vehicle enforcement, and the third a city officer.

I was like, "#### ! All this for a blown headlight?" Imagine how it would have been had I actually done something wrong.

The DOT Officer was the coolest of the whole bunch. He looked at my logs and said, "Well, at least your on the right day." And gave them back :)

Well I'm from South Texas, I get it almost every trip on La,Ms, and Georgia. That last time I got escorted onto a pilot on I-20 in LA by like 4 Dot's and 2 locals. Had me being the center of attention there in the parking lot. That time I let them search and still gave my co-driver (had one that trip) a ticket for not specifying the name of the truck stop we fueled at in his log book.
