If you have an Atlas...each state has a web site or a contact number for road conditions listed. Or, you can google the state road conditions or weather alerts.

    Pullin2 Thanks this.

A monument "up to over a foot"....so what was it for before it was less than a foot tall....a prairie dog?

Hmmm...wonder if they put up a highway marker to indicate there is a prairie dog monument ahead?

I made a delivery early this morning in Borger, TX. I ran west from OKC starting at midnight. Heavy winds from the south, with sideways rain as I got into Texas.

Radar showed a tornado watch about 40 miles north of me, I wasn't more than 80 miles from the winter storm warning. In Borger the temperature was about 58°F, but just 80 miles away below freezing.

Wind charts show lots of moist gulf air will be feeding the monster.
