Trying to find something "affordable" and came across 07 VNL670 with 650k and ISX 525 motor, 13spd box. New Michelin tires around (super singles), new turbo, brakes, clutch. Burns little to no oil. Needs bottom sleeves, valve adjustment and has some rust. No egr work and poor mpg of 5.5. Worth $30k?
To Volvo or not to Volvo

Bought an 07 with 600 000 km cummins engine too. 13 speed. Lifetime average of 6.3 mpg when I bought it. 21 000$. (2 years ago)
Had to change alot of parts involded in regeneration at 1 million miles. Cost me 4300$. Clutch is starting to slip a bit. Truck is still serving well, now gets +-7 mpg. Get ready to always be fixing those side pannels!
No rattle inside, exept for passenger seat that bounces everywere. Soft ride, comfortable seat, great turning radius.
Im not in used truck market anymore so I cant really say anything about the price. -
I think that I would keep looking. The needing new sleeves and valve adjustment would have me spooked a little. Depending on how long overdue it's been since the overhead was last set, I've seen scored camshafts and rockers if its been too long. Mpg should be higher too, I would think. Might be signs of something going wrong as well.

LumbraX Thanks this. -
Way overpriced before you consider it needing sleeves. Valve adjustment is only a 3-4 hour job, but it's what they find when they open the top that start costing money. Who know what the cam looks like and now you're taking pretty good money.

Run. Run fast, run hard. Manifold bolts will crack/snap around 650K, turbo around 600-750

It's too much. Look at truck paper. You can find cheaper.

Local Craigslist also.
