I agree with post #2. Had you thought to identify yourself as the "King of Trucking", surely they would have treated you with more respect. :) They would have no doubt equipped you with a royal blue Cascadia pulled by 500 horses at speeds of up to 60 mph, with a matching air ride throne for your Queen. :) On second thought they would have probably been just as rude as ever.

I've got one company on my radar for central and southern Florida. What do you know about trucking jobs either local or regional to the southeast that pay as well or better than Prime. Coming from Prime I'm used to top notch, if not newer equipment, technology advancements like the mobile app to scan in paperwork, no transflo nonsense, etc. In August I'll have a year under my belt.

I'm searching, but a lot of these companies are garbage, with terrible reputations, CSA ratings, former drivers complaints about pay. You know real concerns, not like, not being talked to like a baby, or slow 65mph trucks.

Prime sucks. In order to get into the yard, you have to proceed into these bays. Once you get there, you have a bunch of company nazi mechanics looking over your tractor and your trailer. If they see any scratches or scuffs in the trailer, they note it. Then you have to take their paperwork into the office area where another douchbag starts grilling you about those things. Once you explain that you found the trailer that way and they threaten to deduct the damages from your check and you threaten to quit for it, they "allow" you into their yard. They a are a crappy company. The only people who like Prine are those who have been there for 5 plus years. They build a basketball court at their terminal that no one uses and expect their drivers to pay for it by taking money out of their checks for old damages to trailers. Scum.

Recruiters don't like tire kickers. You either buy their lies quickly, or else.

I've never had anyone try to charge me for damage to a trailer that wasn't from me, not that I've damaged equipment. You need to note damage in your pick up trailer reports, takes about 60 seconds to fill out.

You are correct though its horrible of prime to build a state of the art facility equipped with an indoor basketball court, a gym, movie theater, 24hr cafe, company store, po boxes, pool tables, wifi, day care, truck shops, truck wash, free bunk rooms, free showers, and cheap laundry machines. Those jerks!!!! They're Nazis!!

Right! How dare they check equipment to make sure we are not dragging trash trailers like a lot of these other companies. The only guys with nice trailers other than us I've seen consistently are the O/O who own the trailer. They are pristine.

ROFL!! I love ruffling the company boys' feathers!! You'd think I just kicked their dog or screwed their wife. Take it easy boys. It's just a stupid job.

You still don't see the idiocy of what you wrote? That's the ROFL moment! I love reading troll posts. It's like you guys are in a race to the bottom to see who can write the dumbest post.

FYI, you are winning. What grown man threatens to quit his job? You either quit or you don't.
