Police looking for truck driver

This is sad for the boys.....and I intensely dislike hit & run drivers (they should be put away for a very long time)....but what the heck were a 10 and 13 year old doing outside riding bikes on a major road at 1:00 in the morning???!!!! Where were their parents?

I certainly hope that this was a misprint re: the time of the accident because otherwise I think that the parents are almost as responsible as the truck driver.

personally i think it is crap the driver be held responsible for anything other than hit and run. the boys are old enough to know better and at that age they should not have been outside. the only reason to be out that late is if they are up to no good. they should be held accountable for there own actions and quit passing the buck and blaming someone else.

 

If they where out at one in the morning, and got hit by the SIDE of the trailer, I'd almost guarentee, they saw the truck, but the truck driver never saw them, and will never know he hit them, unless he get's arrested for it. He wouldn't have even felt a bump.
