All I am trying to figure out how to confirm my record and driving eligibility for new hires.
I have 1 ticket 20 over in last three years and 1 ticket in 2008 doing 100mph to a hospital. Any thoughts?
Tickets?

I hope you were driving an AMBULANCE to the HOSPITAL! lol
KW10001, Swedish Chef, akfisher and 4 others Thank this. -
The 100 MPH ticket should be about to come off your record. The 20 over will be an issue though. It is not fatal, but it is something that can keep you from a good job.

for truck companies is it 7 years that it comes off the record then they don't see it?
-
That's up to your state. In my home state of MA everything shows for 10 years. Here in VA employment only gets to see 7yrs and can't legally request your "personal" record which goes back further. All the companies will want 10yrs history but how much they can verify is where it changes.
The 100mph ticket is reckless regardless of how it was written so hopefully it doesn't show. Only way to know is to pull your driving record.Tim Creamer Thanks this. -
I've been in that situation, needing to get to a hospital in a hurry. I called 911 hands free, let them know the emergency, my location and route, and my vehicle description. Within a couple miles I had a police escort to the emergency room doors.

Did you just pay the fines? Or did you take deferred or defensive driving?
-
No the real question is, if you were really going to the hospital, why did the cop hold you there to write a ticket if it was an emergency? Or if he was an a-hole cop, why didn't you go to court with the hospital bill/paperwork to show the judge?

just paid the fine
