14l detroit intercooler temp

    I have a 03 freightliner with a 14l detroit when I hook up my scanner and the truck is cold intercooler temp is reading 419 so I'm assuming the sensor is bad does anyone know where it is located?

    Does it change at all? If not it probably is shut off in the ecm. There is turbo outlet temp and intake temp but no intercooler temp.

    I didn't see it change at all but I didn't run it along time yeah I wasn't sure what sensor would measure that I called dealer and it's a 200 sensor so I was trying to look at it and see first before I change it on a guess

    If it is on in the ecm it would likely throw a fault code for it.
