    Daughter just had someone try to steal her catalytic converter only problem they tried to cutoff the resonator and didn't even get it done.

    So yes some people are just plain stupid.

    Yuppers -- good catch! I lived in Fairbanks and Soldotna for a long time, and knew a few of the hams/engineers who worked there. I even got to do a helicopter medevac out of there for a guy who got across the "moderate voltage" 800-volt bias on one of the transmitters 8-/
