Any Dash Cams or FM transmitters in the area of the GPS?

    Thanks,
    Mark

Dash cam and wifi hotspot. Had them the whole time. Dash cam about 1' above GPS. Not sure where wifi hotspot is in dash.

Not Wi-Fi, but an FM transmitter some use to transmit the XM radio back to the main radio.

Dash Cams sometimes can interfere with the GPS. The x30 satellite receiver is a tad more sensitive than prior models. Try turning the dash cam off and see what happens.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Dash cam off. Had to stand outside to get initial signal at hotel. Lost it before interstate ramp after having high 7 of 12 satellite when mounted on windshield. Signal loss us worst in the mornings.

    No FM transmitter.

@Mark Kling anything on the automatic brightness issue that I mentioned? Is it a known issue to be fixed in a future update?

If you have already done all available device updates, try doing the diagnose & repair procedure under settings; have had corrupted files fixed that way multiple times.

    Sidenote for Mark,
Just updated to the fixed 3790 version tonight on the 530 & noticed a bug: when on the speedometer dashboard with all the time zones & max speed displays ect, clicking the power button I have set in settings to go to map just reloads the speedo dash & never exits to map that way until clicking the back button.

Also; on the rollback version I have had unit randomly reset from default Street view in settings & 3D view on map to auto zoom & North up view after a recalculation when straying off route.
This has been very random & more often reset Street view to auto zoom then it did 3D view to North up but both happened multiple times; sometimes one, sometimes the other, sometimes both at once.
Had done diagnose & repair before using unit & after initial corrupt file fixes, had 0 errors when these bugs happened.

Has happened all over country randomly but the one I can remember it happening multiple times was Skowhegan, ME to De Pere, WI sticking to the route it gave me mostly (i95,i495,i90,i80,i90,i94,i43) only changing i90 through Chicago for i294 instead. (Which was one of the times it reset Street view to auto zoom & 3D to North up going past the i90/i80 junction in indiana)
Did it also when rerouting from truck stops & rest areas along the way.

    Allow all
    Allow toll
    Allow tunnel
    Fastest route
    53'
    13'6"

    Cheers

Anyone else still getting the occasional Navi.exe error even after the update? I'm still getting 2 or 3 a week.
