Ask for it. If the intention is to cross, it makes sense to research what may be possible in crossing north. I assume what you saw was staying within Canada?

Something else to consider, you are seeing a snapshot of a specific time with whatever loads are availabel at that time. You may be seeing whats available on a low end of scale for time of day, day of week, etc.

What about other areas of Canada? To and from Ontario? Its been shown here that guys can succesfully grab a great rate load to a tank area and grab a not so hot load out of that aarea and still earn an overall rate thats worth it.

Ask for. As much info as they will give in diffrent areas times etc. Last is Choice new for Canadian drivers? If not its worth waiting til you can speak with a few choice drivers from there to get real world info.

There was a time i could see loads in and out of Canada but not any longer.
It was always cheap leaving and paying better going in.

If you were expecting $2 a mile loads forget about it.
Loads that pay $2+ generally go to bad areas that are cheap coming out.
Unless it's a short load as shorter loads do pay more per mile.

One random screenshot can only tell so much as now good loads go very fast and most of the time you're looking at leftovers on the board.

I've never heard of from anybody that going in and out of Canada in any direction being a good paying lane. Something to consider

    Wow, thanks for the clarification.
I guess the moment you don't have a truck leased on is the moment you go to the back of the list.

I hear people saying loads going into Ontario are usually better. I asked him for a screen shot...lets see what's out there.

Last Friday notifications were sent out to recruiting that there's a freeze on bringing drivers over with their own trucks. I was all set to get on the list until that came down.

Why bring on a driver with his own truck when there's a list of drivers wanting to lease a truck from SFI.

It's smart business on SNI part and SFI but for those looking to come over it stinks.

Wonder if there's a sublet market for IC position at SNI from current IC's...Lol

Glad it's not affecting my situation as I just got my full approval to get my truck at loan mtn. I will have it all set up and paperwork done before my current lease is up.
