I was told the same thing by the mechanic at one of our shops. Supposedly it's already or just about gone over in Europe for some of the same reasons. Said it is hurting the environment more than our old "dirty" motors were. Also noted from Cali was that they are saying that the regen/def is causing some of the fires out there as well.

 

What? A thread complaining about CA and no mention of Swift?.......

• Just so none of you will get any more worked up....our wonderful Moonbeam (Gov Jerry Brown) is being sued by his own "Govt. Accountability Department" over Moonbeams signing an executive order requiring accelerating the zero emissions law to move the compliance date up from 2040 to 2030...again citing unproven and unsubstantial science being used to come to an unprovable conclusion. CARB rebutted with some gobble-ti-gook about CA has the cleanest air and water since pre-WWII...however, Los Angeles Ozone ratings have never been higher due to the changed emissions from the diesel supplement DEF!

Absolute truth! I talked to a guy in a truck stop that knows a guy, who knows a guy, who knows a guy that this exact thing happened to...

 

LA ss filling the hole in the ozone layer. Way to go LA and DEF trucks.
