Talk to a recruiter. They do have accounts that can get you home weekly.

TruckDuo also has two dogs so even if the wife is mad at him he can still get some tongue.

    Tough hell!
It is comparable to prison....locked in a small space with some dude for days at a time....go out in the yard (enter truckstop name) for a few daily....crappy food and do not drop the soap...hehehehe

On a serious note....I hear US Express dedicated is not bad and as far as teaming anywhere...it all depends on your co-driver. If you get along good it can be a blast...

in school now, one of my teachers old students that teams for them stopped by the other day. Him and his partner are on a dedicated run from boston to LA that they do 3 times a week. 6k-7k miles. saw his paychecks, anywhere from 1300-1600 weekly with his "on duty" hours around 50-60 per week. Seems like a #### sweet gig to me.

That sounds close to what they offered me from the Dayton area but no way am I playing with those mountains. Even with all my experience the risk is not worth it. Did have a voice mail Friday from them...something about a Dayton to the SW run that would be right up my ally....call them on Monday and hear what they offer. All my buddies that work for US Express on dedicated and local seem to be happy as far as green goes.

TruckDuo, I'm skeptical, I wonder why, since most trucking companies only say the truth and we know anyone that advertises on Craigslist is above par. Still I'm a little skeptical , they're saying .82/mile split, I've got TX endorsements. So at .82/mile split at 5,500 miles/wk I should gross $2,255.00/wk, if that's is so ,why do they have to advertise so much and why do they have so many recruiters ? Did I say I'm skeptical ? Well I am ,just a little.

US Xpress is a mixed bag...dedicated accounts not bad for newbies....experienced drivers can find much better as I found out after my last post on this....OTR sucks as is the usual case with these megas. Want a good team dedicated? Try companies like Carter Express or Ryder and others who offer milk runs or straight dedicated freight usually with the automotive industry.
