I started in a old Diamond Reo for B&R materials in Tucson...1986-ish
Rotted floor boards, you could see the ground going by...very manual truck
I caught on fire going down I-10 while hauling steer manure, i ditched the truck on the 6th ave offramp..DOT /DPS realized I didnt have a CDL, got a few tickets...The company liked me and the next weekend I did my roadtest in a transfer with a 3rd party tester...
I was almost to ten bucks an hour there!!

Not an old pic I took it tonight. Glad to see some older iron being put to use on the farm. IMG_20160427_185944.jpg

Probably within the last ten years there was still one from roadway running around our area. I haven't seen it since Yellow bought Roadway they must have retired it. A buddy of mine went to the Henry Ford museum (it's on my agenda) he said they have one on display.

It's about 2 1/2 hours from me, I'm going to get there eventually. Maybe after I get done dragging the kids to every thing my wife thinks they need to see it'll be my turn.
