Still want to see where you get the numbers. Not saying 'you're wrong', I just want opinion backed up by FACT that can be found. I just tried to google it, and wasnt able to find jack. Only thing i found was a first quarter report back from 2002 when Swift bought out M.S. Carrier. Report said they went from having 650 empty/idle trucks to 300. but this is 6 years old.
I can't wait to work for Swift...

You may want to bookmark that site, by the way - it's full of great information -
Swift sure has an impressive (NOT) out of service rate!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But they Figure it out by # of empty seats for overall turnover...300% of the drivers there less than 1 year ....so they can replace every driver 3 times a year...
Its a convoluted formula..... -
your asking for it so dont come back crying.
Brickman Thanks this. -

Trucker Lady 76 Thanks this.

Snowman - MarkGel has it right - though it's not really all that convoluted.
Also, most companies consider you as "hired" when you show up for orientation. If they are schooling you, I would assume that they'd consider you technically an employee when you show up for your first class. Driver turnover, though, counts only seated drivers - not trainees, schoolies, or whatever. -
