    This is my picture, of my most favourite place within the UK.
    It is the bottom end of Loch Ness, at a place called Fort Agustus

    LOL. I did try to get Nessie to pose but he said he didn't like having his picture taken...

    Seriously though, Loch Ness is an awesome place, and even if the myth of the monster didn't exist, it would still have an air of mystic about it.

    There is the ruins of a castle Urqhuart upon one of the banks of the Loch, and during the night it's all lit up with carefully placed lights... Just Stunning..

    You should have rented a circus elephant and let it swim out in the loch there. That's all the original "Loch Ness Monster" was. An elephant. A circus was once nearby, and the keepers let their elephants go for a swim in the loch. One snapped a picture of one elephant's trunk sticking up out of the water, claimed it was a "monster", and fooled the world. You could have done that, too, Shaky.

    It's beautiful, Shaky! If I were there, I think I'd take a book, park my fanny under one of those trees on the shoreline, and spend a few hours alternately reading and watching the activity on the water.

    It's a lovely picture... a beautiful place... and I thank you for sharing it with us! :thumbup:
