I see them on Craigslist advertising recently. Would like to hear impressions of company and O/O. Somebody spill some details.

I see their CSA is a bit below average, HOS in 50s. Vehicle out of service a bit high. 19 drivers. Rates seem a bit on the high side to be true, don't know if it includes FSC. Don't know enough about what they do to say yay or nay on their claims of earning potential. "Owner purchase" program 12 months which is somehow supposed to be different than a lease purchase.

My gut just doesn't give a good feeling on it. Next.

My advice to anyone thinking about GD Trucking is there equipment is new responsible to be kept in good condition and maintained by the driver. Those are the Pros . The Cons are dispatch will lie to you about home time and getting you there. When you make it home typically after 3weeks of being OTR you'll only get 1-2days regardless of what's discussed upon initial hire. Your phone won't stop ringing because they will pester you for BOL's while your still being unloaded . And The sole accountant for GD Ewelina is a P.O.S human being, without regard to you as a human being who has a life back home, let alone a Truck Driver who's OTR weeks at a time she'll will find any and every reason to deduct money from your hard earned paycheck. The owner is non existent unless it's to threaten to fire you. He's so disconnected from the drivers I'm surprised he still has any. The only way he stays connected to a driver is by listening to his office support who describes drivers as "You all". Aside from the accountant things ran smooth pick up deliver etc Gas cards worked everytime , $200 advance every Monday, You may receive a paycheck every now and then with all of your completed runs on there , eventually you'll be paid to GD Trucking ,GD Trucking is top priority not you being paid properly or your issues being resolved quickily. I hope this helps you make a informed decision. Also they want you to sign paperwork which has it appearing you are a O/O under contract. I wouldn't if I were you .

C'mon now Pete... Craigslist is not a bad place to advertise. I've found some good companies on there. Granted, there seems to be more bad companies than good anymore... but these also advertise in all Trucker magazines too, ya know?

Anyway, just my 2 cents worth....:occasion5:

GD Trucking Express is a good company to run for..if you wanna run illegally! Your equipment is newer as stated in other ads. They will keep you out for 3-4 weeks and give you 2-3 days home. Those 2-3 days they'll stay calling your phone about bs. Even though you make good money doesn't mean they'll pay you good money. Every check, maybe exception to one or two I was shorted. They say .55 then pay you .45. They take 3-4 weeks to pay back reimbursements. They say they pay fridays and you get a back statement of your pay but don't actually hit your books til Monday or Tuesday. They will make you sign on as an owner operator and make you pay for truck necessities as an o/o even though you're a company driver. Ewelina is a terrible manager who disrespects all drivers. All I can say is take your chances and see for yourself if you don't believe me!

Driver stay away from this company their employee driver turnover is super high. They never pay on time. They lie and want you to drive more than is legal. They are ripping off Amazon and that will soon stop Amazon will fire them real soon. They dispatch from Bulgaria you will never see your dispatcher and they are pushed by the owner to get any load out thereally or face a firing squad. Their office personne isl lead by Ewelina (aka Javelina) she has the personality God gave Crowbar. You will regret you worked for these crooks. I should have paid attention to the reports I read on other sites especially the Rip Of Report
site. Majority of truck companies lie these people wrote the book on it...
