I love your breakdown as I'm trying to research van rates in weighing my decision whether or not to come over. I run Midwest for the most part. When you list gross rates, that's before LS cut correct? And that rate doesn't include FSC?
why does landstar pay alot more

Right, the rates on the board are the gross rate. It does include fsc and other breakouts to the driver.
WisconsinF150 and Scott72 Thank this. -
a friend that i use to work with moved over to landstar and loves it i stayed leased to the maga carrier, (i'm on percentage)

Can one of you guys give me a rough estimate of rates in the WI, IL, MN, IA, IN region? For vans? Are most right around $2?
WisconsinF150 Thanks this. -
I'm leased to a mega, but on cpm. Only averaging right around 1.20. It's killing me.WisconsinF150 Thanks this.

Midwest freight tends to be on the higher end of the curve. Really anything north of I-40 and east of I-35. It starts to slow down once you get deep into New England.WisconsinF150 and Scott72 Thank this.

i spend most of my time between I-35 & I-81
WisconsinF150 Thanks this. -
Take the LS demo webinar. You get to log onto their board for an hour, it's live and what is really there, you can do it more than once as well, the agent will do some searches for the group as well.WisconsinF150 Thanks this.

HT/Prime my loads are averaging $1.20 also. At 75 percent.
