Our Terms and Conditions.
It's all about who pays for a rocking chipping (however small) a windshield on an open carrier. -
Our terms and conditions.

Are you moving vehicles under your own authority, with a direct agreement between the party that wants to move the vehicle? Or are you getting vehicles thru a broker off CD?
-
This was off of CD through a broker. do you have any idea where that leaves us?Last edited: May 1, 2016

You may want to contact your attorney. By accepting the move off CD through this or any broker I think you are agreeing to move the unit under their terms.
At any rate, you are responsible for the vehicle in your care. This comes more into play when moving high end vehicles such as your Benz. -
...In a sad sad place most likely.

so these folks have no terms and conditions posted and they are riding on our insurance...so I'm thinking our Terms and Conditions apply. i agree we are responsible but not for acts beyond our control.Last edited: May 1, 2016

Have you already requested to get the auction pre/post sale inspection? Maybe the chip was already there?
But otherwise your terms & conditions have less value than toilet paper when going through a brokerage/alternate contract stuff.Terry270 Thanks this. -
If this is a huge account that makes up a large percentage of your income I can see playing by thier rules, but Joe blow broker off of CD? They can go #### themselves. They have to understand that when putting a vehicle on open transport, it is possible that anything that could happen to it traveling down the road can still happen to it on the trailer. If they want to avoid this, then they need to pay for enclosed transport every time.
