I'm looking to lease on with an auto transport company in the Chicago area. I've talked to a few, but most want me to get my own authority. (I'm not ready to do that just yet)

    Anyone have a recommendation?

I've seen guys pulling out of the BNSF in Elwood, but a lot are wedges except for one guy with a 7-car and beautiful Pete, but I wasn't able to see the name on the truck.

    Dominick253 Thanks this.

Well for starters what are do you have? A 3,4,7 or 10 car rig?

United Road does have a few guys leased on with 7 car rigs.
They have LOTS of work in the Chicago area.

Thanks. I didn't realize they had O/O. I'll try giving them a call.

I left them a VM, but I haven't been in a big hurry. I'm in the process of buying a repo'd Cottrell trailer, but it's taking a lot longer then I thought it was going to take. (it's not actually repo'd yet, i'm trying to get it "pre-repo")
Add to the fact that my truck is now in the shop getting the transmission rebuilt, it's putting a dent into my reserve fund.

I can understand that. How well are you expecting to do? Got work lined up already?
