The clock in the sleeper constant resets and beeps while I'm driving down the road. It probably beeps every five minutes or so. Five groups of four beep bursts. It's terribly annoying because I can hear it when I am going down the road.
I've set the clock a few times and turned the alarm off, but that doesn't solve my issue. However it *did* show me that it is the clock resetting. I'm not sure why it beeps and resets, but I'd love some input that could solve the beeping issue until I can get to a dealership or shop and ask them some questions. Maybe a way to disable the clock altogether? I don't use those things anyway. They have never worked properly in any truck I've been in.
Thanks for all future inputs.

"They have never worked properly in any truckI've been in. "
Lol, maybe it's just you then. Only other reason I could think of is a short in the wiring in that wall or perhaps the power surge when you crank the truck, but ive never had that issue -
I don't doubt at all that I am the issue in the other trucks for the clocks not working properly. I am more accustomed to using my phone anyway. It's proven it's reliability for years.
I don't see a problem directly related to cranking the truck, because then the clock would only reset whenever I start the truck. Instead the clock resets on what seems to be a predictable time interval while the truck is rolling down the highway, idling, and just in motion generally.
I'll pay more mind to see if it has any proclivity to resetting on bumps and dips on the highway. Then it would seem more likely to be a wiring issue due to the intermittent quality versus what I perceive to be a predictable time interval.
If it is indeed a power issue I'll check to see if there is a fuse that controls the clock and only the clock and pull it.
I'm not really sure if such a fuse exists, but I'll cross my fingers and give it a try.
I assume I'm not the only one with this issue or something similar to it. So I'll do my best to keep this thread up to date as I find out more. -

I’m having the same issue. The alarm continues to go off when the engine is running. Any ideas on how to turn off the bunk alarm?
