Probably the same yard in the Bronx,I used to haul switchgear and tie plates into. That yard and others NYC yards for the NYCTA.Off of Westchester Ave.,drive up under all the elevated tracks to get there.Yard was a cluster u know what, high security concerntina barb wire around the place.Yes it was tight in there, did it back in the 70's + 80's,but with a 42' trailer.Wait till you have to go over to the yard in Brooklyn,it's even harder to get into. Was a war zone, but we hauled it out of Chicago Heights,Ill.,all shipped as class rated ltl.Loads paid a minumum of $3k+ back then, depending on how many stops you had,but was worth it for the aggravation..

Stickers required for anyone with the hut account. Government has made no mention of stickers going away.

According to my quarterly reports, NYHUT costs me $.05/mile for every non toll road mile driven in NY. $30/month for someone to file IFTA and the HUT for me. Just factor it in and bill accordingly.

True enuff what @Ruthless and others say about the stickers being free now. I mailed my check for the new series and they sent it back, Whoooop-deee-dooo.

Just curious why you take the time to gather all of your mileage info and then just hand it over for a 15 minute log in/entry/payment.

My truck is making money but man I am really discovering what a miser I am!

Yeah I know. But it's usually 3-4 trucks and I have enough paperwork as it is. And they dealt with the revenuer man when he decided he wanted to do a fuel tax audit

    Mattflat362 Thanks this.
