I'd go home to get my bug out bag, some supplies and go to a distribution center and try to hunker down there

I can give you a list of places NOT to go: Chicago, Baltimore, LA, NOLA, Memphis.. ....

Avoid cities and metros, bug out to where ever you have access to freshwater and collect your food stores on the way. In all truth though, if things hit the fan I would instantly loot desalination gear from boat shops and make my to the coast to hijack a blue water sailer. If that option isn't available, I'd likely head to Montana(low density and access to water). If I'm forced to bug in, ill put on plate and start stacking bodies outside my door. People make fun of preppers these days, but my great grandmother was a kid during the depression. She saw people starving and desperate, and said no one understands what true hunger actually is. There is no reason to have 10k$ in the bank, but not have 500$ worth of water and shelf stable foods on hand for your family. I even have extra antibiotics on hand, some docs will actually work with you for prepping if you ask.

Assuming I'm in my truck when it happens.grab an empty from the yard head to a DC load up and head on out to the bunker with a full load. I've done some looking and know which ones are viable and still for sale. Just in case after all
Rubberduckin Thanks this. -

Me, I'm bugging for home. Got everything I need there. Food, supplies, good neighbors. Let the rebuilding of civilization begin!

Haha, ya dood, totally a 'outer limits' episode...
Well, for doomsday, I guess I'll try to make meth, apparently walmart has all the ingredients for it....That way, I'll save money on toothpaste and soap and food, wont need any..I'll be up, no one will catch me sleepin, ever...Maybe start a small security firm..who knows..
