The problem is back in 1984 they had just changed the aiding and abetting laws in Kansas, so even though I was found guilty by reason of aiding and abetting, it is listed as if I committed the crime myself, because they make no distinction between aiding and abetting and comitting the crime for sentencing.
But murder or an attempt to comit it is listed as a lifetime ban. Now perhaps I could get a waiver if I could actually get them to go look at the case files and see it was only aiding and abetting, but I wouldn't hold my breath on their willingness to dig into a 33 year old case only in paper records.
And it really isnt hazmat or border crossing that hurts me, its the fact that the company sees attempted murder and thats as far as most care to look.
