I just purchased a used great Dane trailer in Illinois but live in Washington. Can I use the trailer with a load to get me back to Washington so I can get it registered or do I have to drive it empty the entire way?
Thanks for the help everyone!

A temp tag from who? Illinois?
-
WA my friend did the same thing from MO to ID. He did it over the phone and they e mailed him a temp tag to get home.

I had checked with the state of WA DOL already and they said I would need to get it to Washington and wouldn't be able to haul anything. That's why I was hoping there was some other solution.

If you have paid for it, have them fedex the title to you, go down to the license dept and get the license, put it on the trailer, load it and go home.

Trying to figure that out with illinois but they don't answer there phones in that state it seems, lol. You go through the prompts in the phone tree and then it just rings forever, even the prompt for Polish speaking.truckthatpassesyouby Thanks this.
