Hauled a load back to Iowa from cali.. Was setup on another blue bunny load to Washington and my truck throws a cel for a egt sensor.. I'm now sitting in souix city at kw till Monday waiting on parts... Even slow and low rates I'm already making more a week then I was at qc.

 

Im considering either Schnider or now A&A. Lol... Do they hire out of WA state?Thank you for the info.

Ok, thank you. Will do before I sign on,with anyone. I wanna see whats the average take home weekly. I have 20yrs driving ex. So I dont want to get outhere,go belly uo either. I much appreciate ur input.

Yes,thats the original plan.

 

When I had a new Volvo here... I never took home under a grand a week. Lots of 3-3500 settlements... I would put my average around 1800 take home. But you must understand I stay out 6-8 weeks at a time, and run hard.

Since I have been back I haven't made less then 1400 a week, and that has been on one trip a week. This past week I got two trips in and the gross is 6600 on those. I also have my own truck and didn't lease.

 

I will say I have been on recap hours for 18 days.. This I my first night off with no load.

 

Ok. Thats what I wanted know. I a hard worker , I want to go see if I can make some good money. My kidscare all grown up. My last one graduates june 4th. So im looking to go on a new venture.

 

You have to have a business sense to run your own truck.. If not you will not make it. Guys here want to run 70-75 mph and complain the loads don't pay enough.. I'm averaging 1.37 a mile gross to my truck and don't have any problem putting money up. Last year at this time it was higher.. But the rates are down this year. Run it smart and you will make it.
