Am I being underpaid?

Probably most Americans are unaware that the major aircraft manufacturers have outsourced their Research & Development to Poland. This has been going on for years. Seems the Polish government tailored their education to real world needs and not what's politically correct.

 

Yes, contrary to all the dumb Polack jokes we are actually quite intelligent as evidenced by our higher than average IQ score. Poland was just historically in a dubious position sandwiched between three imperial powers of the past namely Germany, Russia, and Austria.

But yea Poland is not as PC as other countries in the world but it's slowly getting there unfortunately.

Yup, better put money away and a lot of it. Friend of mine spent the money that should have been for the IRS on a down payment for a brand new Infiniti Suv. Guess who was bumming smokes and not buying drinks at the bar lol.

 

My experiences working with immigrants included a stint as shop boss, that position included overseeing manufacturing floor, and logistics as well. We had a fair number of Ukrainian , and Russian employees, every one of those men out worked all the so called hard working Americans. Those men worked more than one job making their American dreams come true. Something we Americans could learn from.

 

There's many reasons the H1B visa is so popular with employers. Pay is only part of the equation. It's doubtful there are any H1B visa workers that demand "safe rooms" to retreat to in case they hear an opinion that differs from theirs.

 

Yup compared to some of the gibberish I read on these forums from what I assume are American born posters, his English is excellent.

 

I wouldn't be suprised if you run out of hours. My bad - loose leaf pages before getting that load after 4 stops. Let us know for sure.
