I hate this subject. Talk about it until you are blue in the face. It's supply and demand. Companies pay as much as they have to.

Bernie has been breathing the laughing gas at the dentist office too long. California is trying to build a high speed rail from LA to San Fran, going to take 20 years and billions of dollars. You telling me they are going to build nationally? In my lifetime? With who's money?bzinger Thanks this.

All comes down to the paycheck.
Working all week in a truck for $1000+ seems reasonable.
Working all week for $200 is highway robbery.str8t10, MidwestResident, pattyj and 1 other person Thank this. -
Certain companies? Lol. They practically all do that. It just has to be a labor of love on a certain level to tolerate having your time wasted and being expected to do a bunch of free labor. Most of the paper pushers and office types have no idea what the driver has to go through on some days to make anything happen. They think it's easy and that we just like to complain a lot. (LOL)

Geeezzz, aren't we all under truck arrest?

People are worried about the Mexican drivers.... they speak better English than those coming out of Canada. Food for thought.
