Sounds like an excellent company. How long is the training for a student CDL grad? I called today and spoke to Kassi. Very nice. Told me their training was full at the moment but to check back in a few weeks.

The training time varies depending on individual progress and performance. They say plan on 6 weeks. I know that sounds like a long time, but it goes quickly. Also keep in mind that our training pay is more than you would average solo at some of the big training companies. And our pay, after you get to solo status is higher as well. At the end of the year, you will have made more money here, even with the possible longer training period. When Kassi quoted per mile pay rates after you go solo, they are base rates. Before any bonuses are earned and figured in. Many other companies quote mileage pay, but they dont tell you that is with all the possible bonuses figured in. Bonuses you may not earn sometimes. I really like this company. I make pretty good money here. And every one in the offices are really easy to get along with. If we just do our job right, we get paid and have very little stress.

What's the time out schedules like usually? and the routes they normally run? Thanks for the information. 6 weeks isn't too bad.

Are you looking at going into the van division or flatbed division? I am in the flatbed division. We get back around home roughly every 10 to 14 days. Not sure about the van division. We haul a lot of loads from either Sioux Falls or Watertown, SD. We go a lot to Va, NC, Fl. And then the other way to B.C., Alberta, and MB.

We never discussed it on the phone. Haven't even done the app yet. I have to call next week to see if they have any available training spots. I was interested in Dry van. Those routes sound not bad at all.

Can you please tell me about their student program? Like how long is the training? Pay? If its salary or mile? Fleet? I was thinking about putting an App to them since Magnum and Freymiller got trainor shortage. Thanks!

It's 5-6 weeks I think. Since you live closer you would get home more often. I think they said pay was about 500 a week during training. Can't remember CPM. Fleet are mostly Volvo's and Freightliners. All autos. No GPS so you have to furnish one yourself. Van or Flatbed. Van is mostly reefer/dry. No touch freight. Drop hook. Not sure about flatbed. I am still considering taking the job.

They want you to sign a contract for 2 years though. So if you leave before that is up you would pay back about 2k first year or 1k the second year. That's the one thing holding me up. They have gotten good reviews though all across the board.

I am not really worried about home time. I would like to do it in other states since I set up a PO Box. Thats cool. 500 is not bad at all. I like Volvo's too coz I'm short! Should I just put an app to them and give it a call?

Yeah you do the app on the site. They may or may not have a trainer right now though since they are a smaller company. They told me they may or may not have a spot for a few weeks.
