The NB/ANL is always on. The switch now turns the amp on/off.

Cool I watch one of his videos and he made mention of the fact that he does that, nice option. I had a Magnum Predator ( pos) that you could turn on the amp( rfx 75) or turn it off and just run it ad a dual final radio, it was the only thing I liked about it, it was just a cheaply made radio, IMO.

I get different noise with ANL, only or ANL/NB on.

I know we miss each others meaning Envy, but I appreciate you passion for this hobbie and sharing it here.

Darthanubis, how is the static level on your Galaxy 959, is it pretty tolerable?

Sand and fresh water are dead but production jobs are still going as long as the Derricks are pumping there will always be crude and salt water jobs.

Boise, Idaho was full of activity today. There was this guy Mudflap, I talked to him 10 miles, and heard him another 20.From mm 17- 54! To at least the 50 clearly. There were two other guys talking, one I talked to had his Betty Boop Connex worked on by Mark Shurman. He said Shurman did it back when he was in Florida. He said Mark checks on how the radio is doing with him on Facebook, and he said that really impressed him that a guy world check on his work. There was a lot of skip today. The heard guys from Canada. I talked to another mobile 7-8 miles clearly. He was stationery, trying to get his SWRs down.

Then I turned to the Superbowl and heard John Deere. Those guys are East coast.

Couldn't wait to tell you about your boy Rabbi. First time I talked to a Shurman radio. He sounded good, but Mudflap had the city on lock down! 30 miles I heard this guy. I've talked 10 before locally to a base, but I think that was skip.

rabbiporkchop and Evvy Thomas Thank this.
