Don't Drive Melton

Their current ads state they recruit recent CDL grads. I am in CDL school and I have a pre-hire letter from them. Nice recruiter who seems to take a genuine interest in me.

Well i drive for Melton for over a year now, and i can tell you for sure there are a lot of young and older black drivers, also women and i am 57 years old.
And yes they do hire new CDL holders fresh out of school.

 

I worked for melton and in the orientation we had a female she kept bragging how good she was ...lol Till she tried to show us the wrong way to release a chain by letting tie down bar go and it flew to other side on trianing room. then she bragged how good of a driver she was on the road test she blew a red light with us in cab and good thing drivers going across hesitated or she would have killed some body. If you going to use race or gender as a reason for not being hired instead of you didn't have the skill level required " as others said drive ms daisy around.

 

Why u gotta play the weight card??

 

Playing the race card is not cool . Maybe it was just you think about it.

 

Maybe their receivers got tired of seeing drivers with the silk basketball shorts and flip flops on their construction sites.

That's funny. I was hired as a 52 year-old, first generation Cuban-American. That being said, Melton is a TERRIBLE place to work. I will expound on that statement in a future thread on this forum.
