2450 mile load stretched out over a week with 4 drops. SUCKS sometimes these Coyote loads are horrible.

Watch how you hold that double edged sword.

Life happens, you know, and with it does come the occasional catastrophe with the potential to backrupt you.

Have to say things have improved slightly. Still getting nothing but below average runs for the most part, although at least they're scheduled tight enough to where I can run them. Did luck out though kind of. Had to have two separate below average runs pulled (crappy receiver took 7 hours to unload caused first to get pulled then had reefer issues which caused me to have the second run pulled, then got the longest run I've had in 3 months of 2600 miles).

One thing I was wondering about though, if they don't have driver facing cameras then why did they install a driver facing camera? Lol.

    Doesn't make any sense.

    They are installing cameras
We were told they would not be driver facing only outside.

I don't have one yet though. If it faces in, I will be looking for a new Carrier.

They put a forward facing camera in my truck few weeks ago when in for service. I looked pretty hard at it and see no camera other than the forward camera. Haven't had it enough to determine what all will "set it off".

They are only forward facing cameras. Who told you they were driver facing?

I may be mistaken but this is mounted on the driver side. Doesn't look like a microphone, looks like a camera.

Even if it is a camera doesn't matter, covered it up

Nope that's not a camera, that is the communication link to active the camera from the "remote keypad" on the dash. Pretty sure it uses hidden bluetooth tech to activate the camera event capture (since you can't reach the camera's button from the driver seat). This has a recessed screw thread to use in other installation applications

    skibum_63 and stevep1977 Thank this.

I talked to a couple drivers yesterday that are looking elsewhere because of this issue. Holland should probably explain this whole thing better. Even when you try and look up information on smart drive company it's like a highly classified national secret. They don't provide any info about the product

I know. It has a lot of features but I'm not sure what features they are utilizing. Features such as linking to ECU and Qualcomm. I have a feeling it randomly records and uploads as well as during hard stops and rolls. For all I know might even be linked to the front vorad system. I will assume it can be activated remotely for whatever reason.

They will be as uninformative as possible about the system but if a driver is ever terminated because of it, they will probably be on this forum complaining and warning other drivers.
