I havent driven many other trucks, but my favorite is the Oshkosh M1070 SuperHET. 8 wheel drive, 4 wheel steering, [SIZE=-1]Detroit Diesel, 8V92TA with 500hp, Allison Auto trans, GVW of 231,000 lbs, dual 55000 lb winches, and even has a sleeper. Bad part is it has a top speed of 45 mph and gets 2 mpg or less, seats kills your rear (more so while wearing body armor), and a huge lack of space. But man, it can pull some heavy loads through some stuff, and the steering is great. I just really enjoyed driving this truck.

You put junky ##### Sterling on there, but not Mack? I probably wouldn't have picked Mack anyway but still, what gives?

My favorite truck is Peterbilt....Ya i know...But they are the best running, most reliable truck out there...And the Cat C-15...Hands down reliable...I have plans of buying a 387...Because of fuel prices...the 379 just cant get the mileage the 387 can....the 387 has way more room to...

i would LOVE to have my 2006 classic, but pushing a brick down the road is not cost effective these days

so if you cant be with the one you love, love the one you with (03 columbia)

The Kenworth W900A's and W900L's are the best looking trucks around. The interiors are outstanding, along with their frames, electrical wiring, and structural soundness over many miles. Peterbilt's are great as well. I miss the 379 I learned on. It was a great truck, and it was on there where I abandoned double clutching. I think the Peterbilt low air leaf suspension rocks. I actually have the Peterbilt air suspension on my W900A, so I have the best of both worlds. The KW 8 bag air ride isn't no slouch either. My W900A has separate tool box and sleeper doors, while the Peterbilt still has that single sleeper door of which I never could stand. Come on Peterbilt, if my W900A from long ago can have two doors, yours can too. :biggrin_2559:

I'm surprised Mack trucks weren't listed. They are yet another great make of trucks. They manufacture just about everything on the truck. The only Macks I've driven were the R models. One tractor, and also a boom truck. Really solid trucks....except one of them broke in half.

My favorite will always be Kenworth.
