Greyhound... advice please :)

Do you have the same problem as me where when the bus is getting full, it's always the fattest guy on the trip that sits next to you, leaving you pinned against the window because he takes up more than 1 seat?

 

The patience it takes to ride the 'Hound, is paramount to the patience it will take to ride with your trainer/mentor. At least the truck will have more leg and storage room, tho!

One thing that was not mentioned, a can of Lysol. I would spray my seat before I sat down. The last time I rode a Greyhound to orientation, it took 20 hrs to go to Orientation 320 miles away. I caught some kind of virus the next morning and was sick for a few days

LMAO You got a lot more than you bargained for I bet LOL.
Yea man you can squeeze them in the overheads on the bus. Worst case scenario, they both ride on your lap. I know you can squeeze the pillows in the overhead. I've done it, almost same stuff you described.

 

I think its always better to either drive your own vehicle to orientation or rent one. You never know whats going to happen once you get there. If you take a bus, and something happens, you may be stuck there for several days trying to get back home.

Some of the things Ive seen happen at orientation are The driver wasnt hired because his neck was too large, the driver didnt mention something on his record that they found out about so they didnt hire him, his blood pressure was off so they didnt hire him, he failed the driving test or other tests so they didnt hire him, they told him one thing on the phone then something else when he got to orientation so he rejected the job.

I have just always made it a policy to get myself there and back.
