    I had my T80 tablet stolen, so I bought a new T70...

Went through the setup, and logged in Rand market without a problem. When I looked at the apps, I didn't see Google Play Store, or any other google app.
So, I tried going to settings, and logging in google account, only to find out its not there. Went to apkmirror.com and downloaded playstore and chrome APK files. Both installed, but playstore won't even open, just flashes and closes, and chrome doesn't let me sign in my account.
So, is this tablet Google approved, or am I going to TA tomorrow to return it? I know it's Android device, but there are a number of them on the market that are not approved by Google
    Thanks

    Mark Kling Thanks this.

RM did not partner with Google on some devices.

    Thanks,
    Mark

    So T80 is, and T70 isn't?
    Thanks

BTW, on the 80 since you had Google, there are apps that will track your tablet.

I can see where it is in Google Dashboard, but, I'm in Florida, and my GPS is in Arizona...

Kind of like where's Waldo. Nothing on the RM side to lock it down. I do use one app that will lock the device. I have to look at my tablets and see which one it is.

    Thanks,
    Mark

You can go here, and log in with your Google user name and password

    https://accounts.google.com/Service...vacy&passive=-1&passwdsession=true&authuser=0

and you can remotely erase and lock the device.
No special app needed, and it has all of your devices, purchases, and such, past and present...
