What about Western Express? They will most likely work with the OP.

What ExOTR said - I was also the only one in my CDL class who paid full price.
Whether you take the company-sponsored course or get into a separate CDL class, the main thing to realize is that as a company driver, you're going to be taking some lumps the first year. That means low pay-per-mile, not much home time (1 day home per week out, and good luck getting home once every 4-5 weeks), and not many miles. The newbies all get the short hops and long wait times. When I started, I was raring to go with 3000+ mile weeks. There were a few - maybe a couple times a month - but the reality was that most weeks, due to short dispatches, I averaged maybe half that - and made almost nothing. After the first year (and the better you get to know your dispatcher), it gets better. Good luck!

They used to have their own inhouse cdl school, but closed it.
A few months or so ago Werner bought 2 cdl schools, AIT and Roadmasters, and give tuition discounts to students that attend either of those schools and hire on with Werner.

Both would be good as STARTER companies. Stay there a bit, get some experience, and DON'T LEASE!

    Good luck!
