In hotel for the night since it's hot enough to slow down a squirrel. Got a load headed to Louisville, due Tuesday morning, then to Indy to meet my new ops manager and get details about this closed loop dedicated run.

 

Gotta get the details on the dedicated run first. This could save the relationship if the account is right. From what I know so far it could be The Hot Chick's ticket to an apartment and a used car so she can have an easier time doing her schooling.

That's worth all the corporate B.S. in the world to me. If it works.

 

I don't wanna hear about anybody giving odds on my staying versus leaving and taking bets!

Slept in this morning since the 1200 mile load doesn't deliver til Tuesday morning. Now it's time to hook and go.

Shutting down early just south of Waxahatchie because if I run my clock I'll end up in Mt Vernon with nowhere to park. Start early tomorrow and knock out a full day with another short day Monday, then a quick shot up into Louisville Tuesday morning (unless I can park at receiver--then I'll just finish Monday evening). From there it's only a couple hours to the yard.
