That was taken with an actual camera I have a Fuji Finpix S2000 HD that took that picture. My work pictures are usually my phone, but that one was a legitimate digital camera.

You do weddings....haha.
No seriously, you should look into photography.Mike2633 Thanks this. -
Thanks for the compliment.
You know someone else said you have pictures of pretty much everything. I take pictures a lot when I'm at work or off duty of a lot of things that I might work on that's usually work related. I said as an amateur writer who writes on transportation topics I feel that pictures help and everyone can really get to see the whole thing. I think it's really great that Truckers Report hast there forum set up so we can easily up load pictures. Really gives the story or topic a real feel and people can really wrap there whole mind around it. -
I should do something like that I have to see what the local community colleges have to offer along the lines of art I don't know a whole lot about photography because it can be pretty intense, but I like to keep the camera with me and when I think there's a picture take it. I've got tons of files on my computer of pictures that I've taken mostly off my phone, because there work related, not bad stuff, but I could make one hell of a work scrap book ha-ha!
It helped that this evening was really pretty outside and I drove out to the terminal and got some pictures I had to take two shots because there's no sidewalk or anything out in Richfield. Everything really worked out really nice and looked really good. Would have been nice to get the whole terminal in one shot, but the two will do.
I think that terminal was probably an old Overnite Terminal, I would figure it would have had to have been. Has UPS built any brand new UPS Freight Termianls?Last edited: May 13, 2016

Very well said. Could'nt agree with you more.
I think we absolutely hijacked the OP's thread.Mike2633 Thanks this. -
If I remember correctly you were seasonal? Way different experience for a seasonal driver.
Regardless, not trying to drill you or anything. Was just trying to see how only top guys got overtime at your hub. That's the first time I heard of that. Well, except tiny hubs with a couple runs. -
Ha-ha I didn't mean to hijack his thread ha-ha I know I just thought that too, I apologize to Mr.Rabbit. I figured what better way to talk about UPS Freight then to show a terminal really make it all come alive ha-ha!
Sho Nuff Thanks this. -
No, I was casual. Bottom man. Left the job because I couldn't live off of $450 a week, and for other reasons as well. I started off on the old contract at $16 an hour. If I stuck it out, I would of been right there with my buddy with 30 drivers under me. You didn't see me bash Parcel anywhere on this thread, correct? If anything, I defended Parcel....and I personally can't stand Parcel.Last edited: May 14, 2016

Just one more jack....as far as UPSF building new terminals, I can only speak for MY AREA, and all the UPSF terminals in MY AREA, were formerly Overnight IN MY AREA. Did I mention MY AREA???
OK....done jacking.Last edited: May 14, 2016

That would make sense I thought in reality United Parcel Service really doesn't like the LTL Freight business, but because FedEx has a pretty big LTL Freight business UPS felt obligated to get into it. Although that would make sense why buy out a company and then build new infrastructure especially if you don't really like the business. I haven't seen to many Overnite tractors any more, but for a long, long time all I would see was Overnite tractors with the UPS Freight Sign on the door. 10 years later or close to it, it seems the Overnite trucks for the most part maybe not 100%, but close to it have been re-branded and painted.
However I know there's a good amount of Overnite Pups still out there running around and old and I do mean older Freightliner FL series which is pre 2002 because the FL series was the predecessor to the M2. UPS Freight at least here in Cleveland has some rough and I mean rough looking Freightliner FL80 straight trucks running around and they have the Overnite markings on them. Once in a while I still see Overnite 10 wheelers running around that say Overnite Special Service Division.
I think Richfield only has one straight truck, they must use it for lift gate stuff. Cleveland though the UPS Freight terminal there probably has 3 or 4 straight trucks. There all older White FL70 or FL80's probably 26ft long lift gates and they seem to send them down town or mid town down town area. I used to go down town on Monday and usually I would see the older Overnite straight trucks down there peddling the freight.Sho Nuff Thanks this.
